Artist Submission Criterion

Thank you for your interest in the Art Ark Gallery. We represent contemporary Canadian artists. Our neighbor, Turtle Island, specializes in Native Art.

Artist selection for the Art Ark Gallery is done by a committee.

We offer two possibilities. The preferred method is a hard copy portolio described below. We will also review submission by email. We require the information listed below in points 2,3 and 4.

Our selection process requires a portfolio from the artist containing the following
1) A self addressed stamped return envelope or instructions to phone the artist so they can collect their portfolio.
2) A photo representation of at least 10 works of original art with a list of medium, size and retail price.
3) An artist statement.
4) An artist CV or biography with a list of previous exhibitions, gallery representations, areas of study and academic background.
