Julie Elliot
"Continuum"
May 31st to June 19th
Opening reception Saturday May 31st from 2 to 4 pm.
Themes of journey and “moving on” have preoccupied Julie Elliot in recent
years. At the other end of the continuum, she is exploring ideas about
being connected and deeply grounded in one place. Her mixed media paintings
combine printmaking and painting in innovative ways with an emphasis on
line, pattern, texture and strong flat shapes.
Wine Tasting as an Art
Saturday May 3rd from 11am to 4 pm. Wander between galleries and taste different wines. The Art
Ark, Turtle Island, Hambleton, Evans and Picture Perfect Galleries are
hosting their annual Spring Wine Festival Event. The Art Ark will be having
the opening of Meghan Hildebrand's exhibition "Manitou".
