Artist Statement
I am a Canadian artist of Czech descent.
Through various media, ranging from graphics to stone, I express my artistic vision. I use material such as wood, clay, paper, and metal to create miniature sculptures which mainly depict sport themes.
My stone sculptures reveal what I see “hidden in the stone”. Sometimes this is a more realistic representation of a subject, sometimes it is an abstract expression that I want to share with the viewer’s imagination.
The best reward I can get is to know that thanks to my art someone’s day became brighter.
